When my mother died in May 2020, she left behind close to a hundred quilted pieces. These range in size from small coasters and potholders to full sized bedspreads. I wanted a lasting record of her creativity and have begun digitally photographing them in my studio starting with the smallest pieces and working my way up. It’s a long term project.
